How to Deal with Ahl Al-Sunnah who have Mistakes in the Manhaj?

A man is fundamentally from Ahl Al-Sunnah. He follows their manhaj and is known for defending them and serving their manhaj. Sometimes, some mistakes in the manhaj are noticed from him. So, should he be warned against as an individual or by clarifying his mistakes?
