What is the Ruling on Fasting the Six Days of Shawwal Before the Qada of Ramadan?

It’s obligatory to give precedence to the Qada because it is of greater importance and the Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever fasts Ramadan, then, follows it up with (fasting) the six days of Shawwal”. So, the women who fasted the six before completing (the Qada of) Ramadan didn’t follow it up; she must start (making it up). (Likewise) the man also starts with the Qada of Ramadan, then he fasts the six.
