What is the Ruling on reciting in a different Qira'ah which the people are not used to?

Is it allowed for the Imam who leads the people in prayer to recite in this Qira'ah: Maliki yawmi deen (instead of Maaliki yawmi deen)?

No, he should recite in the Qira'ah which is (normally) recited in the country, not to confuse the people. The Qira’ah that is most common in the country, from the seven Qira’at, he recites it. In our Land (Saudi Arabia), the most used Qira’ah is Hafs, so he recites it. As for if he prays Alone, then there is no prevention (from reciting in another Qira’ah). But if he leads people in prayer (as the imam), then he would confuse them
