Your Eminence Sheikh, may Allah grant you success. Here is a questioner who says: I gave Sadaqah (voluntary charity) to a poor person, then I wanted to change my Niyyah (intention) into Zakah (the mandatory charity). Is it permissible to change the intention from Sadaqah to Zakah?
