What is the ruling on the Eid prayer for women?

The Prophet ﷺ commanded the women to go out for the Eid prayer, even the young girls (are commanded to) go for the Eid prayer. And even those on their menses go to the Eid prayer but they should avoid the prayer place. So, women going for Eid prayer is required in the legislation; the Prophet ﷺ commanded it. For the manifestation of the Muslims and establishing the ritual of the Eid prayer. However, the women should avoid free-mixing, beautifying and adorning themselves. They should go out wearing Hijab; without beautifying and perfuming themselves. And they should be by themselves (i.e., with other women); without mixing with men.
