What is the ruling on watching movies and TV shows that contain Shirk (polytheism) and magic? Also, is the one who watches these movies the same as the one goes to a sorcerer, so his prayer is not accepted?

It is not permissible to watch them except for the one who has Ilm (Islamic knowledge) and wants to warn against and respond to them. As for the one who doesn't respond nor warn against, it is not permissible.
