Advice Regarding Activities Women Participate In at Wedding Celebrations.

Questioner: Shaykh Saleh, it is customary that wedding celebrations are accompanied with some joy. ‏Thus, there may be Duffs (tambourines w/o bells), dancing amongst women, chants and poetry. ‏So, what is your advice? May Allah preserve you. Sheikh: ‏If such celebrations do not contain anything that is forbidden, rather, there is only unblameworthy entertainment with a Duff (tambourine w/o bells) and the like, and the dancing is only witnessed by women, and the sounds from the women do not reach men, then, there is nothing wrong with this. ‏Whilst also abiding by clean speech and keeping it free of indecency and improperness. But, the reality is very few people will avoid these matters. ‏So, Allah is our refuge.
