You will Never Benefit from ilm al-Mantiq (Philosophy and its Branches)!

Moderator: He says: Honorable Sheikh, may Allah grant you success, can it be said that one can benefit from Ilm al-Mantiq (philosophy and its branches)? Sheikh: Never. There is no benefit from studying Ilm al-Mantiq at all. Benefitting is from the Quran and Sunnah. However, some scholars study it to refute them only, not to use it as evidence. The one who studies it in order to know their mistakes and respond to them, like Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim, they didn’t study it to rely on it. Rather, only to refute them and clarify the falsehood of what they are upon. That's because you can not refute them while you do not know their suspicious matters and principles. So, there's no issue for those who intend this, those who study it in order to refute them, there's no problem.
