Conceited People Opposing People of Ilm

Question: I heard a student of Ilm (Islamic knowledge) say: the linguistic definition of Al-Hamd (praising) is forbidden regarding Allah’s sake, Glory is to Him. He asks: is this correct? Sheikh: What is the linguistic definition?! Let him clarify it to us, so we can look into it. Nowadays, some conceited people have begun to talk without Ilm (Islamic knowledge) and oppose what people of Ilm state. This is a calamity; let him show us what he means with that!
