Don’t Listen to Everyone!

One shouldn’t give Fitnah (temptation) an opportunity to be absorbed by the heart and take control of it. And that is why you find that among the calamities that are taking place: some people are completely ignorant of the Deen (religion) of Allah, yet they lend their ears to whatever any speaker says. And you find them now across websites and channels, listening to everyone. What kind of heart would this turn out to be when this is the case, listening to Fitnas, and grasping them? He did not single out with his hearing on matters of Ilm (Islamic knowledge) and religion the most distinguished and trustworthy of scholars, the people of insight into the religion of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted. How many of these hearts get sick and afflicted by what befalls them of temptation.
