Secularism Will End the World

Secularism will lead to the end of this world and therefore, we contemplate, I mean people of Ilm (Islamic knowledge) and students of Ilm contemplate the overall human schools of thought. They test them. They (people) tried out communism, and it ended. They tried out nationalism some way or another it ended. Now people are trying out secularism. Major secularism as a philosophic ideology and a philosophic religion. The secular experience will be a comfortable experience for people, however, it isn’t pleasing to Allah the Exalted. It is pleasing to people, yes, but not to Allah the Exalted because we have certainty. A believer has enough certainty to say that this experience will lead to the end of the world. A lot of contemporary American and European philosophers are talking about how modernity and globalization will end the world. But not in the foreseeable future, the relationship of tyranny in light of modern concepts is very important. It is a must for our brothers, the researchers, to pay attention to it. The relationship of tyranny of the human mind… Strong tyranny is being practiced against the human mind nowadays, meaning you have to think how we want you to think or else you are insane, you are backwards. This is not right. Intellect is involved in everything. The participation of any specialist must be respected. Therefore yes, we respect the mind. Shari'ah honored the mind, and Allah the Exalted praised the mind and made it a scale for many things. But human minds vary.
