Sheikh Wasiullah Abbas
And we always say that the books of the imams of this land (i.e. Saudi Arabia): Sheikh Mufti Muhammad Bin Ibrahim, Sheikh Bin Baz - may Allah have mercy on him - Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, Sheikh Al-Fawzan…Their books, praise be to Allah, are simple, very easy. Glory is to Allah. So, we recommend to our brothers in every field that when they find the books of Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen… I directed the brothers outside this country many times, and they benefited and said: Give us lectures on this. I said no, provided that you meet with determination and not be absent, if you commit, you will benefit. So, it should be in all the world that several students meet in their place, if it wasn’t possible for many to meet, to study the books of the Sheikh on Aqida (creed) [like] “Al-Qawa'id Al-Muthla (the seamless rules)” and others, also his explanations, he amazingly simplified them. Likewise, whosoever wants to excel in Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), should [study] his (Bin Uthaymeen) book Al-Sharh Al-Mumti’. But we complain that in the last edition a lot has been omitted, If you find the first edition, the edition of "Assam", it has the Sheikh’s rulings on the authenticity of the hadiths (Sahih or not) quoting from the imams of the field. They deleted it, and I think they shouldn’t have; In any case, the book was printed during the life of the Sheikh - may Allah have mercy on him -. Likewise, in matters of grammar and others. In any case, we benefit from it (the book), for time is short, [three] days without distinction for those who ask. the book was long, and I told them that we can benefit something from it. فَإِنْ لَمْ يُصِبْهَا وَابِلٌ فَطَلٌّ﴾[البقرة: 265]) {if it doesn’t receive Heavy rain, light moisture suffices it} [Al-Baqarah: 265].
