Moderator: How to instruct and respond to the one who says: there is a woman who is barren for a long time, then she went to a grave and slaughtered (animal sacrifice) for that grave, and she immediately after a month became pregnant. He says: How? Sheikh: This is an affliction, a test, and a temptation. Yes, this may happen, and you already know that obtaining your needs does not indicate that it’s lawful. A person can be tempted, he is given his request, despite the means being forbidden, as a test. This is not permissible even if she obtained her needs and became pregnant. This is shirk (polytheism), and it is not permissible for her. And Allah the Exalted tempted her and gave her what she desired so that she continues upon (the path) she’s on as a punishment for her. So, this is not permissible. This is one aspect. The second aspect: she became pregnant not because she went to the grave, but because Allah decreed this for her. This coincided with decree and destiny, not because of her going to the grave. However, it is only by Allah's decree and destiny. The third aspect, and it is more severe: There may be at the graves, among those who take care of the grave, someone who is ready to commit adultery with the woman, then she becomes pregnant. They say: This is because of the grave of the righteous person. However, this wicked filthy person is committing adultery with her and is prepared to do so. They, or some of them, take advantage of these situations.
