How old was Ibn Abi Zaid Al-Qairawani when he authored Aqeedat Al-Salaf?

(Questioner): Is it true that the Qairawani, may Allah have mercy on him, has authored this text when he was young? The Sheikh: Yes, he authored it when he was young and was supervised by his teacher. However, when he (the teacher) saw excellency and intelligence in him, he asked him to author this text. He didn’t even reach 20 years of age when he authored it. This is the result of raising (children) righteously and with correct education. The outcome are the likes of him.
