Will a Person Drink from the Wine of Paradise if he Repents from Drinking Alcohol?

The question: It has been mentioned in the Hadith, “Whosoever drinks the wine of the dunya (this world), will be deprived from it in the Hereafter.” So, whoever drank it and then repented from it, is he included in this warning? Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan: If he repents, Allah forgives him. And if Allah forgives him, he will drink from the wine of Paradise. This (the warning mentioned previously) is for the one who has not repented because the one who drinks it isn’t a Kafir (disbeliever). He might enter Paradise. He will be punished for his sins, then he will enter Paradise. So, if he enters it, he won’t drink from the wine of Paradise as a punishment for him.
