Be Serious in Seeking Knowledge! We Need Scholars!

Today, there is no room for half-solutions regarding Islamic knowledge; either you are serious and eager for strong, beneficial Islamic knowledge, according to the abilities and talents that Allah has given you, but you are serious and master what you have learnt. This is what is required, that we master what we have learnt, rather than learning half-knowledge. Because the ones who are harming the Shari’ah (Islamic legislation) today, and are harming the understanding of Islam and attributing to the religion what is not from it, they are the ones who are satisfied with only half - they know one thing but are ignorant of many others. They are not excused by this, if they have the ability to research and fall short, being satisfied with what they have already learnt. If someone studied in college and then after some time forgot half of what he learnt, is he suitable to lead the people while only doing light revision?! We must to go deep with knowledge, because you are transmitting from Allah the Almighty. Knowledge is not easy, and the Ummah (Islamic nation) is in dire need of a lot of Islamic scholars. How big is the Ummah? 1.5 billion. How many scholars do we need for them? How many specialists do we need? We need someone who knows something and calls to it, making the Shari’ah of Allah clear. Allah the Exalted has commanded us to follow the religion and to pass it on, which is not done with ignorance, it is done with knowledge. A person must have firmly established knowledge, according to his ability, so he must be eager, so Allah knows that you have made an effort.
