Sheikh Ibn Al-Uthaymeen
With these words he (the Messenger ﷺ) said: " Let her have Sabr ." Meaning she must hold herself back from being displeased (with the Decree of Allah) and patiently endure the calamity. "And do Ihtisab", meaning, hope for the reward from Allah for her patience. As there are those who are patient but do not do ihtisab, he is patient upon the calamity and does not become frustrated, but he does not hope for its reward from Allah, so he misses a lot of good because of that. However, if he is patient and hopes for the reward from Allah, meaning, he wishes that Allah rewards him for his patience, then this is Ihtisab. "Command her to be patient" meaning, upon this calamity. And let her hope for reward with Allah The Exalted.
