Our State Nowadays

When Muslims neglected their religion, failed to take care of it, and were affected by what Allah said about: "Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) and have followed lusts. So, they will be thrown in Hell." (Surah Meriam: 59) Their worth decreased, and their enemies dared to step all over them. They have become as Ibn al-Qayyim says: "And is there anything beyond our foreignness (in religion)" "That made our enemies govern us" Therefore, Muslims became foreign even in their own countries, and they cannot do anything except for Dua’ (supplication). However, Dua’ (supplication) requires sincere repentance, honestly turning to Allah, apologizing for sins, and insistence (in supplication) upon Allah the Exalted. Allah the Exalted promised to answer (our supplications); however, He didn't promise an immediate response as soon as someone utters a request. Some things can prevent the response from Allah as in the Hadith: “A person who travels widely, his hair disheveled and covered with dust. He lifts his hands ‘O Lord, O Lord,’ whereas his food is Haram (unlawful), his clothes are Haram (unlawful), and his nourishment is Haram. How can then his supplication be accepted?” A lot of supplications may come from people who do not purify their earnings and their sources of food and drink, so we ask Allah righteousness and wellness.
