Sunnah of Congratulating on Receiving Good News

Verily, it is from the Sunnah when one receives that which makes him happy, he is congratulated for it and given glad tidings, regardless of it being religious or worldly goodness. This is why the angels gave glad tidings to Ibrahim عليه السلام of a forebearing child, Isma'il, and a knowledgeable child, Ishaq. The Angels gave Ibrahim glad tidings of these two boys.
