لا تستوحش - Don’t Feel Lonely

Since the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions are with you, do not feel lonely Student: A narration reported by Ahmed, may Allah have mercy on him, in the Hadith of Saad Ibn Malik may Allah be pleased with him: “Tuba (Paradise) is for the strangers on that day when people are corrupt.” Sheikh: The strangers when? when people are corrupt. You see all people not just the kuffar (disbelievers). The kuffar (disbelievers) are known (i.e. to be corrupt) However, (it is) when Muslims become corrupt. External beliefs, opinions, desires, creeds and different sects spread through them. You must follow and stick to the path of the Messenger, peace be upon him, even if you become a stranger amongst them. Be patient on being a stranger. Be patient on being a stranger “And whosoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.” [An-Nisa:69] These are your companions on this path. Do not feel lonely, for the Prophet, His companions, and their followers are with you. “Those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.” How could you feel lonely if these are with you?! Do not feel lonely while these are with you on the path. Meaning, (which is better( you being with Abu-Bakr, Omar, Othman, Ali and the companions, may Allah be pleased with them, Or you being with so and so of those who are astray? Even if they claim to be Muslims, and they are astray, do not go with them. Stay on the right path and be patient. Continue steadfast on it until you reach Paradise.
