Imam Al-Albani warns a brother

Sheikh Al-Albani warns a brother from Algeria Q: May peace and mercy of Allah be upon you. Sheikh: And may peace, blessings, and mercy be upon you. Q: How are you O Sheikh? Sheikh: Good, Praise be to Allah. Q: I have some questions; may Allah bless you. Sheikh: Go ahead. Q: If Jihad (call to arms) is declared in Algeria, will Jihad be mandatory as is the case in Afghanistan? Sheikh: Who is going to declare jihad in Algeria; the strong or the weak? Q: The weak. Sheikh: And would the weak be able to perform Jihad?! Q: No, he (the weak) wouldn’t. Sheikh: May Allah forgive you; may Allah forgive you. Haven’t you learned your lesson from what happened in Algeria yet? And before Algeria, Syria, and before Syria, Al-Hijaz? (western part of the Arabic Peninsula). Q: Correct, it’s all correct O Sheikh. Sheikh: Whosoever, being hasty, wants things to happen before their time, will be deprived of them as a punishment. Why wasn’t Jihad declared in Mecca at the beginning of the Prophecy and Message? Q: Correct, that’s all O Sheikh. Sheikh: May Allah reward you. Q: May Allah bless you.
