Questioner: Will the Fasiq and the Innovators Arrive at the Hawd (The Lake on the day of Judgement)? Answer: What’s apparent is that the Hadith includes him because he is not an apostate. However, he is in danger. The warning was mentioned in some of the narrations. So, it’s necessary to be cautious. The warning is only regarding the apostates. (Hadith) "They became apostates since you left them." As for the sinner, he is not an apostate. His iman is deficient and weak, and it’s feared for him [that he may apostate] so he should be wary. There is a distinction concerning the innovators with regards to them being Muslims and disbelievers. The innovator who is a disbeliever shall not drink from the Hawd. We ask Allah for wellbeing.
