Never Take Back What you have Abandoned for the Sake of Allah

He asked Allah that the Hijrah (leaving a non-Muslim to a Muslim country) of the companions be fulfilled through two things: The first one is by steadfastness upon Iman. The reason is that when one remains steadfast upon Iman, he would remain steadfast upon Hijrah. And the second one is that they don’t go back to Makkah after leaving It for the sake of Allah and His Messenger. That’s because when you leave a country for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, it becomes like the money that you give to charity; You cannot take it back. Thus, everything that a person leaves for the sake of Allah, he should not take back.
